Plastics
Various materials for every application
The FLUX range offers different variants for nearly every performance requirement.
-
PP
PP = Polypropylene
(Synonym Hostalen®)
Used with pumps, housings and hand nozzles- Good resistance against aggressive media, acids, alkalis and neutral, non-flammable liquids
- Available as semi-finished products in tubes and flat material
- Available as granulate for injection moulding
- Weldable
- Colour: grey at the pumps
- Temperature range up to approx. 50 – 60 °C
-
PVDF
PVDF = Polyvinylidene fluoride
- Used with pumps and housings
- Very good resistance against strong acids and alkalis and neutral, non-flammable liquids
- Available as semi-finished products in tubes and flat material
- Available as granulate for injection moulding
- Weldable
- Colour: white as the pumps
- Temperature range up to approx. 80 °C
- Twice as expensive as PP
-
PPS
PPS = Polyphenylene sulphide
(Synonym Ryton®)- Used at the measuring chamber of the flow meter FMC 100
